The sixth EQ2 expansion.

Chat channels - works!
Flying on griffons/ports - works! (may experience some lag, but depends on zone)
Call to Guild Hall/Overlord - works!
Bank transactions - works!
Inventory transactions - works!
Zoning - works! (I tried many different zones, new and old expansions, and this seems not to be an issue. I couldn't generate any errors, so it worked for me 100%)
In-game map system - works! (EQ2Maps add-on - can't get it to run (requires MS .NET))
Paineel portals - works!
Marketplace - works! (browsing, previewing gear sets and buying works fine)

Camp to Character Select - works!
Alternate Appearance - works! (switching back and forth works well also)
Full Screen - works! (currently playing at 1680 x 1050 at 52Hz)
Multicore support - works!
Shader 3.0 - Not Tested (This option doesn't even work well in Windows for me, so I didn't test this game option)
Patching game - works! (I uploaded a screenshot showing this)
What does not
Rendering issues - switch back to desktop and come back to game fixes it, perhaps a bug? I have to point out that game resolution, even set at High Quality, doesn't compare to Windows quality. I can tell a little distortion, or low grade graphics, in the game. I get better graphics resolution when playing this game under Windows.
Frame Rate - Low-Mid 30's at Balanced and Mid-High 20's in High Quality (depending on zones, some zones you're able to get better frame rate)
During the patching screen, you get a browser window with information related to game updates, upcoming event, and such - that window section comes out blank. I believe this is due to the lack of IE loaded. I don't know if installing gecko this screen will show up.
What was not tested
Raiding. I haven't been able to test this, but I believe this would be just a frame-rate issue. I'm sure I'm going to have to set this to 'raid' resolution to be able to raid. I was able to raid in High Quality under windows, but I have no complaints about this.
I'm running NVidia drivers and I didn't follow any of the suggestions, such as: registry changes, INI changes, etc, that are found at the top of the comments. Other than the slight sluggishness when running the game in High Quality, everything else (as far as my testing goes) worked just fine. This game is playable just fine. As for sound drivers...OSS drivers worked fine with my setup. When I switched to ALSA, the game would crash at times.

I'd like to remind everyone, that tho shader 3.0 is in fact awesome and better than 1.0, though please before we start complaining about bugs and whatnot especially with shader 3.0 please remember that its buggy in windows too, and try to get bugs that are only in wine only please.
If we can get this working and looking exactly the same in windows and linux and there's still stupid bugs that SOE wont fix that makes the game platinum here even tho there are major graphical glitches.
Please everyone remember that this is a buggy buggy game. Please try to only post here about bugs that are not present in windows. Sometimes its really hard to tell the difference between bugs in wine and bugs in Everquest yourself.
Please Please, before you submit bug reports or testing feedback. If at all possible try to compare anything you do here in Linux with the same thing in windows.
The game requires you to run the newest version of the game, so nobody uses an older version. Because of this, the only "versions" we maintain are the full install client and the streaming install client. Please place all test results in the proper one.
EverQuest II Extended has been merged with the Live game. The Steam version is a wrapper around the Full Install Client and still uses Launchpad.
