Steam version of Gmod works great!! I could launch firstly a STEAM client (already installed on my Windows) and then, launched Garrys Mod. Here's my advise: 1. Launch winefile using terminal. Browse your Steam.exe and launch it. After logging, you can launch Garry's mod. And a very important notice: It is strongly recomended to launch all the windows apps in the Virtual Desktop (winecfg - graphics) and type your resolution (for example 1920x1080) and it will work!!!!!!
