Plays exactly as it did more than 15 years ago, except faster. I also still have it running on a dedicated Windows drive on the same computer, the Linux/Wine version is faster.
What does not
This stupid interface must be broken. I wanted to list it as Platinum but it won't. If I try to list it as Gold it complains that I both do and don't list a problem that doesn't exist in Windows.
There is not. But this web interface won't let me just tick No for that.
What was not tested
Online Play not tested. I never play online anyway. Other than that nothing, it is one of my all time favourite games. I play this thing all the time.
Do not let any of these games install their own DirectX, Visual Basic
runtimes, etc. The trick is to take note of what versions they want -
write it down on a piece of paper before you hit cancel. Then use
WineTricks to install the required runtimes.
Also, if it's these older games that are important to you, like me,
install only the 32 bit version of Wine at first. Get it set up right
and then the default Prefix is the 32 bit prefix. Install the 64 bit
afterwards for anything more modern you might want.
