What works
Installation config.exe Fullscreen mode Arcade mode @ full speed (60FPS) Sound Effects, voices and music, which is pretty awesome :D All difficulty modes Stage Select Scoreboard Saving and viewing replays
What does not
Displaying of some objects, most notably your character, enemies, drops and enemy bullets which are all display over a big black background around them. This alone ruins the whole gameplay and shifts the game from a potential Platinum to Bronze :(
Workarounds
What was not tested
Story Demo? (Don't even know how it works xD)
Hardware tested

Additional Comments
Installer and config.exe require CJK support, without it all you get is question marks and random glyphs. I was able to get the Japanese working perfectly by following this guide: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=383628 However, I had to run eXceed3rd.exe from ~/.wine/ due to how it works, or maybe I screwed up the install... Also, it says you need the Vera Sans YuanTi font but there are no menus in the installer or config.exe so it can be skipped, I couldn't find the file anyways =/ Another note, it installed into Program Files with a directory name of "“V‘R‘f?Þ", probably due to no CJK support and I tried a bunch of encoding but nothing turned up so you might as well rename it to whatever you want, I went with "TennenSozai". While fullscreen mode works, it screwed up my X server so I had to kill kwin, save my stuff and then kill X. I'm on KDE-4.4.5 btw. Just be careful with fullscreen, it's the first option in config.exe, "フルスクリーン". Game works surprisingly well, constant 60FPS in windows and fullscreen mode. For some reason, when viewing the scores when you die or the scoreboard from the menu, the game lags and FPS drops considerably... Such a shame that the only problem with the game ruins the whole gameplay :( I'm pretty sure there's a small fix out there for this, seeing as many other games have such problems but are fixable. I'm still a newb when it comes to configuring and messing around with wine so I have no idea how to fix it but if I ever do, I'll update this :D
