What works

Running in both windowed and full screen mode if you know what you are doing. (I see you there mr.anonymos user and your “garbage” rating.)

Using bios configurations for Sega CD and 32x and being able to run all the types of roms you would on a windows install.

Good picture. Decent sound.

Pretty much everything you would expect it to do, except for one very important feature.

What does not

Configuring the gamepad keybindings. Unfortunately, not only is this it's biggest flaw, it make it unusable to some people who don't want to use the default key bindings or want to use a joy pad.

Thankfully, if you do want to use a joy pad, if you can find the default keybindings there are programs that will let you emulate keyboard input with a joystick. Unfortunately, this isn't worth it to some people. It is only worth it to me because I really love this emulator.

Additional Comments

This shows great potential! Works perfectly enough for me except for the fact that it will not allow you to change keybindings so you are stuck with the original set. You can, of course, use other software to take input from your controller as keystrokes if you want to use it. Definitely my favorite Sega Genesis emulators. Everything else runs smoothly except for some minor bugs here and there which can usually ether be fixed by going into the configuration or by restarting the application. The source code for this application is out there to be tampered with, so it would be awesome if someone who knows more about this stuff than me created a version which could be ran on linux natively. I'm not sure how much work that would take, and if it maybe has some dependences which can not yet be met with a linux system, but I would love to see it happen.
