The in-game status bar flickers.
What was not tested
The game must be internally set to "Windowed", otherwise it freezes when trying to start a mission. Though, this caused the program screen area to be the resolution's height, minus the height of any horizontal GNOME Panels. The game seems to render at this reduced resolution correctly (no clipping!). Audio driver had to be set to "ALSA", with Hardware Acceleration set to "Emulation" for audio to work in-game, as well as in menus.
