What works

Software functions well after successful install.

Mindstorms programs can be written, saved, and reopened.

Training videos incorporated into the program work well.

What does not

The setup.ini file on the CD is not configured to be compatible with wine. All install paths had to be modified in setup.ini. The current running version has some files copied from a windows partition while I work to straighten out install bugs. At this point, I am certain that the installer can work well inside of Wine. Am currently working on a bash script to perform correct install using CD.

I am not aware of  hardware support for Bluetooth. This prevents bluetooth data transfers.

USB uploading to NXT Robot is currently non-functional, but this may be improved.

Additional Comments

Software is not viable for real world use until usb or bluetooth data transfer is solved.
