What works

Everything works provided that Acrobat is installed in "Windows XP" mode.Version 9.0 should be installed, and also patch 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 work. Then the automatic updater for Acrobat kicks in and upgrade the installation to version 9.2 (which seems to be the latest version that works on Wine).

I tested some advanced features: Annotating text, adding metadata, extracting pages to files, cropping scanned pages, running OCR on the pages. No problems discovered with any of these operations.

What does not

Do not apply patch 9.3!!! It does not work and  the uninstaller for Acrobat does not work, so I had to remove all programs to revert back to 9.0.

Workarounds

What was not tested

Much of the simpler functions, but these should work as the more demanding ones do.
