2013-05-03 Admin note: the information below was taken from a user comment made in 2006. It may or may not work (or be needed) in current Wine.

Instructions
============

STEP 1. Download latest wine & picophone (vitez.it)

STEP 2. get the file msg723.acm & msgsm32.acm from windows install (system32 folder)

STEP 3. put the files into your wine system32 folder (usually ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32)

STEP 4. add the following lines to your wine system.ini file (usually ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system.ini)

MSACM.msg723=msg723.acm
MSACM.msgsm610=msgsm32.acm

STEP 5. run picophone, good luck!
