Additional Comments

Similar install as for 10.1.1.8 Steps: - winetricks gecko dotnet30 fontfix gdiplus msxml3 msxml4 msxml6 vcrun2005sp1 vcrun2008 allfonts winxp volnum - Install the Windows version of the Oracle instant client (in my case 11.2), there is no setup, just extract the client to the c drive and configure: Copy exploded client zip to c:\instantclient_11_2 wine "c:\tmp\client\setup.exe" - Using wine regedit create the keys ORACLE_HOME in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > System > CurrentControlSet > Control > SessionManager > Environment with the WIN path of your ORACLE_HOME. - If using TNS, copy TNSNAMES.ORA to instant client directory and add TNS_ADMIN entry to registry (as above) - Install Toad copy toad installer to ~/.wine/drive_c/ wine "cmd" run installer from command line - Run Toad wine "C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle 10\toad.exe"
