What does not

Full performance on Full Graphics detail
What was not tested
It seems to be nothing..
My Spec: Linux kernel 3.3.0 AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 640 Processor (3GHz / 4 core) 6Gb RAM (1333 MHz) OpenGL renderer string: GeForce GTX 570/PCIe/SSE2/3DNOW! OpenGL version string: 4.2.0 NVIDIA 295.20 --- I download the small installer from BN of the SC2 (Start Version for free), then create clean wine prefix, and install it into prefix (under wine 1.4.0). Then try to start, and fail. Game say "New version available", after press "ok", game say it again, brings my trying into loop. I found workaround by downloading lastest patch of the game, and apply it manually, then game runs ok. Second fail - is graphics issue SCV and Spine Crawler has broken model, it's have long ugly stick (i found it only 2 models in game), i play with this several game, then found workaround by upgrade NVidia driver on lastest. And finally, game have very poor performance.. In my spec, for full graphics detail, game unplayable, very slow, about 3-7 fps on normal in game army, and 10-16 fps at starting the round. Now i'm play the game in normal graphics detail (some settings at low), and have playable FPS 30 at starting round, and 8-14 at big army. Game is very playable under wine 1.5.1, bot not in beautiful graphics. And have some fail, but got workarounds. Bronze - because i want play, and relax at hi fps and beautiful graphics, but under wine - it is impossible with StarCraft2..

If using custom gamma settings or using an application that automatically changes gamma (e.g. redshift) then at specific times, your gamma setting may reset for a short time.
To fix this, open the registry editor and navigate to:
Inside the newly created "X11 Driver" add the chain value "UseXVidMode" and set it to "N".
After a Battle.net update or a crash, there are sometimes old processes left running that may interfere with your next launch. These processes can be killed before trying again:
killall -i -r '.exe'
Or you can do this manually (and more safely):
ps x #and then....kill as necessary after you got the process ID in the first column
#of course it doesn't hurt to take a look at the manual for these commands:
You can download the StarCraft II Starter Edition for free via the Battle.net Launcher, which includes the first campaign (Wings Of Liberty) and the Arcade (Mods).
Please test how / if the game works before buying it.
