What works
It would appear everything works as it's supposed to. It expects the SRT file to be saved in "Microsoft" format (CR + LF) for its ends-of-lines. Saves in original format SSA, not the new format, bu tthe old format works with Avery Lee's subtitler plugin.
Just unzip the archive, descend into the directory and execute Converser.exe
What does not
The text format must be saved in MS format, otherwise the software cannot parse the file.
Workarounds
What was not tested
Did not try every available font, size, and colour, but there was nothing to indicate that they would fail.
Hardware tested

Additional Comments
I generally just convert my SRT to SSA, then manually edit the "style" line in the converted SSA, to suit my needs.
