Additional Comments
To get sound working, I had to override the openal32 library to (native, builtin). For unlocking the 60FPS cap, set bSmoothFrameRate from TRUE to FALSE in ~/Documents/EA Games/Mirror's Edge/TdGame/Config/TdEngine.ini The game is running at 80-190FPS on High settings with 2xAA on a GTX 960 and an i5 4670K @3.4GHz. Not sure how good the performance is compared to Windows but it is definitely enjoyable.

I also tried removing the OpenAL32.dll file in the game to use the system ones instead, but no luck there.

Htop also shows me that Mirrors Edge runs in two processes, and when killing one of them both dies.
Does anyone else have this issue?
Using xmonad on manjaro with wine version 1.7.7.

Physx had to be turned off, but otherwise, runs absolutely GREAT!
I even made a step-by-step guide on how to install, configure and run Mirror's Edge:

PhysX can be disabled in the options menu and only seems to be used to make the glass leave behind shards when it shatters (maybe some other minor visual effects).
The Anti-aliasing option is disabled (I think I have the same thing in other games).
Alt+Tabbing sometimes causes the graphics to freeze (although input and sound keeps going). Although if you die or manage to quit to the main menu it resumes.
