What does not

Succesfully running the launcher or game client. Trying to do so begins a loop where the launcher tries to update, fails and shows you an error message saying it cannot download the newest version. When you click okay, the cycle repeats. However, see the comments for a workaround.

When you try to run the OGPlanet launcher, it loops between trying to upgrade to the newest version and showing an error message saying that it can't download the latest version from "http://static.ogplanet.com/static/Launcher/us/1113/ogplauncher.zip" Typing that url in manually allows you to download the updated launcher files. You can then place them manually into the drive_c/Program Files/OGPlanet/USLauncher folder in your wine directory, replacing the old ones. Now the launcher works. You can login, navigate the different tabs and areas of the launcher window, and get as far as clicking "Start Game". The launcher recognizes that Lost Saga is installed. The links to the game forum and homepage don't work either, so it could a problem of integration with IE or that the calls aren't reaching an appropriate browser. This workaround should fix the launcher for any OGPlanet game.
