What works

Launcher: It patches the game properly. This version uses Steamworks for signing in (registration through IE is still required on 1st run), I didn't experience any sign in issues reported back in Aug 2010.

What does not

 Anti-cheat: As the launcher finish patching, you can actually launch the game with the "GAME START" button, but appearantly there are some issues with anti-cheat (X-Trap) that prevents the game from loading. It displayed a "security program error" dialog followed by a crash and a popup from X-Trap asking you to disable compatibility mode.

Exactly 5 minutes after launching the game, the launcher reports error 226 along with some information about your computer (Tested with both Windows XP and 7 application setting)
