What works
Installation works OK after installing the MFC40.DLL library (i used winetricks). The game is running OK in virtual desktop mode. The main menu is flickering a little. The flickering effect stronger on load screens. Big mouse desync. Geoscape works with mouse desync. Saved game pack/unpack directly from the menu.
What does not
No sound and music (Error initializing audio. Continuing silent. Error: 80070057). The game hangs up after finishing/interrupting to play video oggs. Workaround: Delete/Move away ogg-Videos in %GAMEDIR%/data/videos. In-Game cursor is out of sync with real mouse position. - See Bug 9550
