What works

When DotNet 2.0 is installed, installation sort-of works (slowly) - tested with WINE set to Windows 7. The slowdown occurs during LDraw parts decompression, upon the completion of which the installer freezes up. However the files are all present by this point (I think).

What does not

Actually running the application. Judging by debug output, this is due to Directx.d3d (the website specifically says SR3D requires a directx update from Microsoft http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3 , however this itself will not install in WINE. It's either that or an initial failure to fully install that leads to a big dose of Unhandled Exception.
