Launching from a virtual desktop, the game appears to be fully functional (as per manero666's test results).
The first two missions (Jailbreak and Appointed Defender) worked perfectly outside of major performance issues. Late game saves loaded fine with functional open-world gameplay.
The music was all present and working, and no major glitches were observed in the time played of the opening.
Even IdolNinja's 'Gentlemen of the Row' (GotR) mod seems to be fully functional, with even the modding tools included in the pack working well. Using wineconsole to run the .bat files worked, outside of one broken side-menu. Old Windows GotR saves loaded without corruption or issue.
What does not
The lighting engine was glitching a little bit, such that light sources were appearing through walls while it rained.
Some menus were near unresponsive due to lag both delaying and dropping some inputs.
What was not tested
1. Booting outside of a virtual desktop.
3. Long-term gameplay.
If one gets a "SR2_pc.exe" error on start, then they should refer to manero666's test data. The main reason I rate down to gold is performance. I had to turn down the settings a good chunk to get it running close to the Native port, but ultimately the game just felt less responsive running through Wine. The native port would be my final reccomendation for Linux due to that performance hit.
