What works

Viewing the database, panning, zooming, all menus, forms, etc. Scripts can be created, saved and executed.

What does not

By default, this version starts using opengl, which quickly crashes. Any use requires the "-noopengl" option when starting the tool. Functions that highlight an item, which principally include the Highlight and Info commands, black out the board display when the cursor moves off the item. Display can be restored by ending the command ("Done") or sometimes selecting another command, and then doing some form of redraw (zoom, pan, redraw, etc.) The highlight and information commands to actually perform the function, but you have to get out of the command to see the result. Highlighting is such a common function for a viewer that I've given this a Bronze rating, even though with a bit of patience you can sort of work around it (you get a blank screen a lot).

Plotting. Most menu commands were at least tried, few command line commands were (in basic cases they should be redundant).

Additional Comments

Someone smarter than me may be able to figure out how to avoid having objects highlight during mouse-over which seems to be the trigger for the problem. I hope to try this with Wine 1.3.3 eventually.
