What works
Once the dll problem is sorted out (see earlier input), it starts up.
What does not
Unfortunately, it then crashes immediately after the banner is displayed, with "The program progedit.exe has encountered a serious error ...".
This after a reinstall of wine and a reboot just to ensure a clean platform.

This is the only program that I still need XP for, once this works I can wipe XP in favour of Ubuntu on my laptop!
