What does not
wmv-based cutscenes, I'm sure you can get them to work in-game, it just wasn't worth the effort for me.
Initially game graphics do not work, you need to install the d3dcompiler_47.dll override via winetricks
(this issue can happen on Windows as well, in fact I did this test to determine what was causing this, d3dcompiler_47.dll is a hotfix update)
What was not tested
nothing, completed the game.

The game needs dx9_36 and 42 and vcron2005sp1 to run Amstream, devenum, quartz and wmp10 to enable ingame videos.
adding AllwaysoffScreen=enabled in Direct3d in registry; probably solves problems (untested as of yet)
Inside Darksiders folder create a folder with name config
On the next launch Darksiders.cfg file with extended options will be created.
