The game needs dx9_36 and 42 and vcron2005sp1 to run Amstream, devenum, quartz and wmp10 to enable ingame videos. To get it to run with no graphical glitches on NVidia set AllwaysoffScreen=enabled in Direct3d in registry. This impacts performance, but the game is still just about over 30FPS on my system, which is playable. Silver rating, because the game runs pretty well, but takes some effort to set up and is crashing after playing awhile. Luckily the game autosaves fairly often, so you usually doesn't loose more than a minute or two of gameplay. Tested on Mac OS 10.6.8, 6GB RAM, NVidia GTX285.

adding AllwaysoffScreen=enabled in Direct3d in registry; probably solves problems (untested as of yet)
Inside Darksiders folder create a folder with name config
On the next launch Darksiders.cfg file with extended options will be created.
