What works

Installation of Quickbooks 2001 upgrade CD to Quickbooks 6.0. Opening of Quickbooks 2001 service or product sample company.  Download of updates or update of existing database did not work, but not required.   Backup does not work, but not required. I was able to open my existing Quickbooks 2001 company file by copying a tar of the Quickbooks program directory to get the latest 2001 updated software that I had been using on the Windows machines.  I was able to get registered by using regedit and editing the QuickbooksRegistration/9.0 keys to match the keys exactly to the Windows machines (GroupNumber, QAMode, RegistrationNumber, VersionNumber).

As pointed out in an earlier version of wine, there are still some graphics issues that make use cumbersome.  In the customer list, the top line is obscured.  The right scroll bar is also obscured, but this can be worked around by enlarging the window.
