What does not
after alt+tab you cannot regain keyboard/mouse control
fullscreen mode does not work properly on multiple monitors, gnome title bars pop above the game.
water reflections must be turned off or the UI constantly disappears
terrible mouse acceleration issues without ini edit (see below)
constant crashes, every 2-3 minutes
occasional graphical bugs, even on highest settings graphics are ugly compared to running on windows (possible shader errors)
What was not tested
completing the game, prevented by too many crashes.
fallout_default.ini needs the following added or the mouse is completely uncontrollable fForegroundMouseAccelBase=0 fForegroundMouseAccelTop=0 fForegroundMouseBase=0 fForegroundMouseMult=0 requires dll overrides or is too unstable to even run, see guide and fallout3 guide for more info

Things needed to be installed for F:NV to run;
winetricks quartz* - Maybe
*With 1.3.25 onwards, some dll overrides could cause issues (I'm looking squarely at quartz) - This could just have been an issue with me because I have a wine-steam prefix with as many games that work as possible in there, had to move New Vegas to its own prefix after these issues.
The winetricks version of quartz is from directx9, a user reported that he needed the win7 version for it to work. YMMV
