What works

Everything except the Web pane on the right side of the screen, things not tested and those things deemed to be bugs in LDD4 as opposed to WINE.

What does not

The Web pane on the right of the screen is meant to display the latest news on LDD, Creator, Mindstorms, Universe and DesignByMe and competitions from LEGO Group. Instead it spends most of its time blacked out. Workaround: don't use the Web pane, just collapse it and use the LEGO website for news, competition info etc.
EDIT:
Workaround 2: Flip your desktop one to the right in Compiz, then back to the left with your mouse over the pane. It will become usable as long as your mouse remains within the pane.

Other issues are likely to be down to LDD4 itself, for example the HTML instructions generator making all universe parts red is a known bug at Eurobricks forums. Check http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=47953  before deciding what the bug you find is caused by.

Workarounds

What was not tested

Sound, printing. Import/Export with LDR format not tested, this is due to an issue inherent in LDD4.

Additional Comments

Due to what appears to be regression in 1.3.6 I downgraded to 1.3.5. Extra libraries may be required, I can't remember which of those still installed are used by LDD, if any at all.
