What works

Most of the application works, after installing VB6run and MSXML6 using winetricks.

Also a simlink file association is needed to make the program detect USB connected Phones (for more detail visit the MyPhoneExplorer forum and search for "Wine Installation Linux").

The side menus on the left all work, and this will give you full access to all functions of the program.

What does not

Bad news is that the shortcut toolbar doesnt work when in Organiser view, Message view or Calls view.

The icons are just unclickable.

You have to resort to using the functions from the side menu.

The shortcut icon toolbar only works in Phone View (for SIM/Phone contacts).

I have tried under various versions of wine, wine1.0.1 makes all the icons clickable but there are numerous crashes and syncing always fails.

Additional Comments

Maybe there is a way to get the icons to work with an override of DLLs or more installs from the winetricks script. Post and share the know how!
