It does start, and the tray icon appears, but it freezes immediately and I can never see the application screen: task manager shows a continued 90-100 % CPU and some 40 MiB RAM usage, as if the start could never finish.
The only things which get updated in /Config directory are known2_64.met and fileinfo.ini : perhaps a neverending hashing of files.
This version used to work (somehow) with previous versions of Wine (which made it crash often, though); these problems started sometime before May 10, 2009 and (I think) after February 2009, but I can't remember the exact Wine version.
