What works
The opening video and start screen, which is only in window mode (ALT-Enter does not do anything).
What does not
As described elsewhere, the buttons on the start screen and scenarios simply revert back to the start screen. I was not able to throw an error, as another user had mentioned. Can't open settings to try full screen either.

It would be interesting to see if using an earlier version of Wine actually worked, as one person had stated. Perhaps if I can figure out the regression thing, I can test it out.
There may be workarounds, however the patch referenced by the former maintainer no longer exists and I believe it was for RCT2, as no RCT1 patch exists anywhere to be found. (Obviously, when trying the patch, it does not work, since it was meant for another program entirely.) ATARI, the company that now supports the RCT brand, also has abysmal support options and no patches for RCT 1.x on their site.
