The game installs and runs without a hitch, gameplay runs perfectly, albeit it seems slightly slower than I remember. Game loading and saving works perfectly. Game's copy protection plays nicely with Wine, although (just like when run natively under Windows XP) it can't tell the difference between an official disk and a backup copy.
What does not
Sound has very noticeable stuttering problems and subtle static in several places. Right mouse button "sticks" randomly making it hard (but certainly not impossible) to remove trees and other scenery. Game will not run if it was installed using a real Windows install; it must be installed through Wine in order to run. Installer may appear to "hang" when it is in fact copying files in the background; just wait it out. (When run natively, the Windows "Copying Files" dialog pops up with its own progress bar, whereas Wine shows nothing and copies the files silently.)
What was not tested
Using ALSA sound driver. Ran in 1024x768 virtual desktop, set the game to full screen, 1024x768.
