To get in game sound you have to install Directx from Redist folder in the game, set winever to XP and dsound to builtin. To get better performance set "UseGLSL"="disabled" With 1680x1050, all settings High I get a good performance. The game is very playable. My PC: Intel i7 6GB RAM Nvidia GTX260. Driver version 260.19.12.

Try a clean WINE prefix (I think it's not necessary)
Install Directx from the CoD:BO game directory.
Set winever to XP.
Set dsound to builtin.
I use ALSA with full hardware aceleration.
