Everything works fine using 32-bit edition of the game. 64-bit runs but has many graphical errors that make the game unplayable on the wine version tested. 3D version of the multiplayer server works but I had to set the server to auto enable the server on launch in the server configuration file. Public servers are listed and can be connected to as long as the appropriate ports are open/forwarded.
What does not
2D Version of the multiplayer server does not work, window does not show anything. In the 3D server the "Connect" and "Disconnect" button does not work, server hangs after pushing these buttons. Forcing auto enable on server launch works in private mode. Public mode does not seem to work even with firewall ports open.
What was not tested
Occasionally the game will crash, this only seems to occur while docked in a station. Ii game is set to auto save when docking, which is the default, then this is not a huge issue. Occasionally it will crash during flight though.
