What works

autoplay.exe and setup.exe on CD1 load successfully and seem to display correctly.

setup.exe plays PCM sound successfully.

setup.exe buttons "View Product Readme", "System Information", "Visit the Sierra Website", "Customer Support Information", and "Exit Sierra Setup" all fully work.

setup.exe system test plays PCM sound successfully, successfully detects the correct desktop resolution (1920x1200), number of colours (16 million / 24-bit), and pixel rendering capacity (3131 K pixels/sec).

What does not

Installing any of the games results in an error dialog partway through saying "Setup was unable to add a program group for Kings Quest Collection". Upon dismissing the dialog, winevdm.exe crashes.

setup.exe button "Check for Updates" does not work.

setup.exe system test fails to play MIDI sound and fails to detect the presence of a CD-ROM drive (but it doesn't seem to mind).

What was not tested

Did not test the games themselves since unable to install.
