Everything - smooth and perfectly.
What does not
What was not tested
The game works perfectly out-of-the-box, there's no need to change anything in Steam game launch parameters (i.e. there's no need in specifying "-console" or setting game resolution and color depth by altering the game launch command line). I had tested latest Steam version of Half Life as of the 4th of June, 2010. Successfully tested variants were: * without high definition pack; * with official valve high definition pack; * with non-official high definition pack by Alexander "your evil twin" Van Wingerden-Cross (downloaded from Planet Half-Life); * with installed non-official texts and sounds translation to the Russian language. Test system specs: AMD Phenom II X4 810 @ 2.6GHz, 6Gb DDR2, GeForce GTS 250 with 1Gb VRAM. Software: Fedora 8 running 32bit PAE kernel 18.104.22.168-57.fc8PAE, Wine 1.2-rc2 compiled from sources, nVIDIA closed-source display driver 195.36.24.
