What works

From 1.3.7 The download actually finally works, the versions before gave an error 12055:

Check if your computer is connected to the internet, or make sure the firewall is not blocking the program.

So thats great! However now there is only one issue left....(see what does not work) 

What does not

Downloading at full speed. If you use the downloader on windows it downloads full speed (2mbps) here in wine it only downloads between 50-200 kbs......So it takes days to download bigger files....and smaller files hours....
