HowTo / Notes

HOWTO

This howto will be changed when new fixes are found. This must be done at windows.

Get a copy of critter.dat and master.dat of fallout 2 cd. Place it in a place you can remember.
Install the fonline : 2238 client. Select client.dat and master.dat copied before.
Go to Fonline's folder and modify the Fonline.cfg replacing fonline.dat for faction.zip
Make the dir data/scripts on FOnline's folder.
Execute the Launcher (optional) and then the updater.

Now, copy it to linux and:

Install mono, dotnet20 (or dotnet30), and ie7.
Execute the Launcher (optional) and then the game.

Using the launcher is optional because you can directly execute updater.exe and client.exe.
