Installer works. Can Add a text box to a document. Can (try to) print to a printer. "Save" and "Save as..." appear to work.
(My CUPS printer is currently not fully functional, but there is evidence that the file is spooled.)
What does not
Running PMW.exe immediately puts up an "Assertion failed" dialog
Expression: "hr == S_OK" failed at:
Would you like to terminate the process? [Yes] [No]
If you select "No", most of the UI window comes up. It is multi-paned, and is missing the left pane that presumably contains templates and file info. (The pane "picks up" whatever window was behind it.)
What was not tested
Most cool features, but that will come with time. I'm trying to get this going for my spouse, who likes "wizards" for creating paper artifacts.
Since I can save files and I can spool (though I haven't been able to check output yet), I figure this is a "bronze". If I had a "tin" option, perhaps I'd use that, since there are clearly some serious issues to be resolved. Output checking is currently my fault - I will update this when I get my CUPS config squared away.
