Backup the Arcanum.exe file before applying the 1.0.7.4 patch - my game prompted that there was no disc inserted otherwise. Check the following settings in winecfg: Arcanum.exe is under the Applications tab with Windows Version set as Windows XP. Emulate a virtual desktop (1024x768) - helped me with running this in i3 window manager. NOTE: The game works in full screen mode with the HighRes module installed and configured. You have to run the following command from the Arcanum directory: (e.g. /home/(username)/.wine/drive_c/Sierra/Arcanum/) wine Arcanum.exe -no3d -doublebuffer
