Additional Comments My machine specs: intel core 2 duo E7500 2.93Ghz 3.2gb Ram nVidia GeForce 9400 Gt 1024Mb my test steps: 1.install the game in a clean wine prefix Note: near the end of the installation, an error (wmpappcompat.exe), accepting the error message. 2.Routine testing date to complete the installation of the game. 3.apply the game update patch 1.1.2.0. http://support.rockstargames.com/help/rockstar_games/EFLC_patch_2 4.copy the file xlive.dll inside the game folder. http://public.sannybuilder.com/GTA4/xliveless-1.0a4.rar 5.edit the file user.reg of the wine folder and add the following lines at end of file: Note: This configuration is for the nVidia 9400 gt with 1024mb ram, change according to the specifications of your graphics card.
