Absolutely everything; installation, running, changing in-game resolution, special functions such as downloading and installing "D-mods" (Dink modifications, i.e. fan-made addon/replacement quests and adventures for Dink) from the Internet (the game has a function to retrieve and install D-mods from an user-input URL, as well as having the option to install several suggested D-mods), loading and playing installed D-mods, saving and loading saves.
What does not
Nothing that I saw.
What was not tested
Quick Save/Load feature (I just used the regular save points and the "save on quit" functions, which work fine);
Playing to completion, but I don't expect that to be a problem.
Wine runs this game perfectly. Any 'issues' are the fault of the game (which is still under some development, apparently), not anything to do with Wine. The previously-mentioned problem of Dink walking too fast is a pre-existing game condition that existed also in the original version under modern versions of Windows using faster hardware. However, this version has a new feature (under Options) called 'FPS Lock', which does succeed in slowing Dink down enough to make controlling him much less frustrating (and also supports this being a known game issue rather than a Wine issue). Dink Smallwood is a fun, free, "old-school" comedy RPG adventure, with a small-but-dedicated fan base that continues to churn out D-mods for it. The HD version brings higher resolutions, higher resolution graphics, and remastered sound and music, along with some flash features like the ability to download and install D-mods from within the game. It runs perfectly under Wine, and it's free (as in beer; although there is also a non-HD free as in speech as well as in beer version available from the author). Really, no reason at all not to give it a shot.
