What works
Installation. I had problems because few files in CD1 and CD2 had the name terminating by dot: (volume. gdata. hopper. index.)
This confused the installation program. But a simple renaming solved the problem. I copied the CD in the hard drive renamed and pointed wine to that directory as a CD using winecfg.
What does not
The game, at all.

Additional Comments
Maybe the +relay output is useful. $ WINEDEBUG=+relay wine tin3_dxd.exe &>relay_log Segmentation fault relay_log is here: http://www.2shared.com/file/Nhqq6GEo/relay_logtar.html I tried starting the game in a window as suggested, but it does not help. I changed this registry line: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Perfect Entertainment\Discworld Noir] "Start Windowed"="Yes" On the other hand it seems unneeded to use a no-cd crack: if you keep the cd inserted the game starts and crash. If you do not insert the cd the game halts asking for it. So I assume the cd check actually worked.
