What works
Installs if you open a terminal in the installation directory and install from there. Installer ends with a failure message, but the install remains behind (isn't purged). You can start the program by clicking on the executable.
It appears to be able to open .pdfs though I didn't test functions extensively because the program had a fatal flaw for me in the area of printing scaled and or tiled printouts.
What does not
The print dialog should normally have the choices to scale and tile prints. The choice to do this can be selected, but the input boxes where the user would enter the scale percentage and tile parameters are missing.
Workarounds
What was not tested
Most other functions. The above failure was important to me.

Additional Comments
Scaling printouts is a major feature advance over earlier Acrobat versions (which are available in native Linux formats) and the main reason I tried to run Arcobat X in Wine. There is no native version of Acrobat X Because this feature is not working in Wine, running it has no advantage over earlier native versions.
