My Distribution is actually: Ubuntu 14.04 "Trusty" x86_64 (+ variants like Kubuntu) Despite this, when one goes to adobe.com/reader and downloads the version for Windows 7, I attempted both a default install, and using: winetricks -q mspatcha and using Configure Wine -> Windows 7 all failed with: Adobe Reader X (10.1.4) - Setup Setup Completed Setup was interrupted before Adobe Reader X (10.1.4) could be completely installed. Your System has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again. Click Finish to exit setup.
