Decals cause slight glitches in video so should be turned off.
There is a problem with the installer, the gui freezes but the game continues to install. It finishes with a "Installer ended prematurely" error but installs the game nonetheless.

In general, game inherits most of bugs from Dead Space 1 (engine is almost the same).
Use wine-1.3.6 or revert commit f0b0c1b1dddf606177651deb45c0afd6259076aa as described in RegressionTesting wiki pageFor NVidia users:

To navigate in menu use arrows to control selection, Enter on non-submenu option is "accept", ESC - "cancel". Or you may try to guess mouse position watching at highlights.
Connection to EA is quite fragile - few glitches and it goes down (and no reconnect was ever seen). Just restart game, load near shop and enter it instantly - it will work.
