Planescape: Torment

What works

• Opening the game
• Playing the game
• Loading save files
• Saving the game

What does not

• Playing videos (i.e. cutscenes that don't use the in-game engine)

This causes a significant problem in endgame combat, since most of the high-level spells involve a rendered cutscene. Since Wine cannot play the video, the game loses its controls and the player cannot do anything until ending the game by closing the window (Alt+F4). This also means a player cannot defeat the final boss in combat.

Additional Comments

I included the Widescreen Mod (http://gibberlings3.net/forums/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=63) and GhostDog's UI (http://www.moddb.com/games/planescape-torment/downloads/ghostdogs-pst-ui-mod-v22) in my testing. I did not have to change any settings with winetricks, nor did I have to set any Registry data.
