What works
Installation appears to complete. When starting the application, the initial screen with the application name shows, then sometimes a compressed window appears to display. That is, it looks like it is the application window, but as though someone has dragged the corner in all the way so that the window takes up the minimum amount of space. Application will then halt, noting a stack overflow, and offering to compile an error report. If you choose to compile a report, the report compiles successfully, and a notification screen tells you as such. If you select ok, your default email application will open to mail the compiled report. The report is a single file, with the suffix *.AtlRep - however, changing the suffix to .zip, one can uncompress and view the individual log and error report files contained within.
What does not
Application doesn't run past the stack overflow reported on initial startup. Though sometimes (not sure why only sometimes) the app window appears

Additional Comments
Seems like it probably just needs some specific things installed via Winetricks, or settings changed via Winecfg, but I'm a novice.
