What works

Everything as far as I can tell. Music plays at the correct rate and playback does too. Both the keyboard and mouse input work appropriately and the configuration utility runs as well. Game runs in both "fullscreen 1" and "fullscreen 2" mode though the second fullscreen mode was pixelated whereas the first was smooth with bilinear filtering.

What does not

Nothing as far as I could tell.

Additional Comments

The game music plays way too fast if the audio device is set to Alsa with the DirectSound Hardware Acceleration set to "Full". It improves but still skips when the Hardware Acceleration is set to "Emulation" but for the perfect results the audio device must be set to "OSS" with Full Hardware acceleration. This can be set using "winecfg". The problem for Ubuntu users like myself is that from Ubuntu 10.10 on the OSS drivers have been taken out of the stock kernel. One either has to compile the OSS kernel drivers back in (like I did) or use Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) or an even earlier release.
