Though this report is platinum I spend days to get the game to work, but I cannot blame wine or the game for this.

I received the error "Not enough virtual memory to run the game. Your system total paging files must be at least 768MB. Please consult the manual that came with

your OS"

I thought this is something I had to setup in wine, but wine just delivers the settings made in Linux to the game. Debian does not add a swap by default anymore, but that is what is needed.

In short: You need virtual memory of at least 768MB on your Linux. I created a swap file but as the error says consult the manual of the OS to make swap available on your distribution.
