Company of Heroes - Original, Opposing Fronts, and Tales of Valor
This may line up with Legacy version on Steam.
Singleplayer, Multiplayer Multiplayer functions like chatting and joining a game work perfectly.
What does not
Installer didn't work for me.
What was not tested
Installer didn't work for me, but it is possible to start the game from a windows installation. This is what I did: 0.) Install CoH ToV under Windows (or patch the game under windows) ---------------------------------- Under Linux: 1.) sh winetricks vbrun2008 vcrun2005 gecko ie6 ie7 Without ie6 or gecko the game will crash sometimes at start. 2.) regedit HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D create key 'OffscreenRenderingMode' and set its value to 'fbo' ((mind the capitals!)) 3.) In addition override the dlls d3dx9_36, ntdll, winsta und faultrep with winecfg (native, builtin) 4.) Finally I created a script to start the game. #\!/bin/sh WINEDEBUG='-all' wine RelicCOH.exe The game runs slower than in windows but the frame-rate is OK on a low-end notebook (with low details ingame). But even under W*ndows the game is a bit slow on the machine ;)
