What works

Everything is working!
Tested with more versions (chronicles) like Lineage 2 Freya, Lineage 2 High Five (H5), Lineage 2 Interlude, Lineage 2 Gracia Final, Lineage 2 Epilogue.
I'm sure that with these settings all Lineage 2 chronicles will run very smoothly.

IMPORTANT! Components required for a smooth gameplay ;)
Required: corefonts / d3dx9 or above / dotnet20 / msxml4 or msxml6 / vcrun2008 / Tahoma fonts
Install corefonts: sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer
Change ALT key with SUPER in your Linux OS settings. (*This will allow you to remove buffs from your Buff Bar by using ALT key)
Disable CSMT (Create a new D_WORD Key in Windows Registry from Wine and restart - to avoid High CPU usage).

What does not

CPU (first Core) was 100% without disabling CSMT from Wine - Windows Registry !!

Buffs, dances/songs can't be removed with ALT+Right click -- If you have ALT in your Linux settings. Open your settings and change ALT key with SUPER.

[INFO about testing]
My CPU: Core2Duo 3Ghz

Vide Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5770

OS: Linux Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and Linux Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic)

Tested with WINE versions: 4.0.1 stable (tested with all WINE versions from 4.0 stable up to latest)

WINE OS: Windows 7, 8.1, 10 (tested with all Windows versions)

Workarounds

Tested with all WINE versions.
That problem with CPU 100% on one Core or both Cores it was FIXED by adding a D_WORD key and disabling "CSMT" in Wine - Windows Registry (all Wine versions).
Create a D_WORD key like this: csmt D_WORD 0x0

Restart wine using wineboot -r

What was not tested

Everything tested.

Hardware tested

Graphics:

  • GPU: AMD
  • Driver: unknown

Additional Comments

My video card was an ATI Radeon HD 5770. Keep in mind if you're using NVidia you don't have to worry about it.
