As previously documented, had to download winetricks-alpha and run winetricks-alpha d3dx9_36 d3dx11_43 devenum. Sound was missing at first. Ran wine DragonAge2Launcher.exe and DragonAge2Config.exe and noticed that the configuration utility couldn't detect my settings. So I edited ~/Bioware/Dragon Age 2 Demo/Settings/DragonAge.ini and found that SoundDisabled=1 under [AudioOptions]. Change that to SoundDisabled=0 and got sound working.
